Every Little Helps, I Think

I am modestly pleased to report that at least two other Blogs have picked up my “Adam Smith and the Myth of Laissez Fare” post HERE and HERE but encouraging economists to examine the roots of some their cherished ideas is a long-term exercise in which hope is up against the long experience of the power of entrenched ideas, particularly when shared by justifiably respected senior scholars in the Republic of Letters. 

However, as Tesco says, ‘every little helps’.
