Announcment

Off for a couple of days in Port Appin, on the northwest coast of Scotland - a small village - Hamlet even - that we visit each year - to a small hotel overlooking the sea and islands off the coast.  Just noth of Oban. The family goes for a few walks across rugged country, while I stay in the lounge and read - no wifi, so I am beyond contact, except for the telephone and tv.  For the last two visits we were snow bound; it looks unsettled just now for a couple of days.  You can't beat the Highlands for a different physical geography to Edinburgh.
Thank you.
Yours Aye.
Gavin
