An Austrian view on invisible hands?
A correspondent has sent me a photocopy of the entry in Palgrave, vol. 2, on ‘Invisible hand’ pp 997-99, by Karen I. Vaughan (for which I am most grateful). I will read it tonight and think about composing a comment, probably on Saturday.
He says, that Vaughan is an ‘Austrian economist’ (Mises, I presume) and that I may wish to take note of what she writes. A glance at the opening paragraphs suggests that the article is worth close study.
If any readers have similar references to any aspect of Smith’s work, I would be most grateful to read them and, perhaps, comment.
